ay, well you can’t actually kiss this new perfectly luscious color by Dollipop Cosmetics as it’s made for your eyes not your lips, but we want to!
BurlEscapades is blushing with excitement at the custom made mineral shadow inspired by our very own troupe color: BurlEscapades Pink!
This beauty will be making her exclusive debut on February 6th at our annual Nerdlesque revue at Joe’s Grotto!
The gorgeous geeky girls and gents of Arizona burlesque will be performing on stage as all your favorite pop culture icons from super heros and villains, to cult classics to video game stars.
While seated tickets are long gone, you can still get your general admission tickets HERE to see this once-a-year sell-out show if you hurry.

The renown Texas burlesque troupe the Jigglewatts are
coming to visit their Western cousins BurlEscapades for a showdown at Joe’s Grotto Wednesday, August 6th.
Featuring co~Founders of the Jigglewatts: Coco Lectric, the raven-haired beauty declared Queen in both New Orleans and Las Vegas festivals, and “the poised porcelain princess of tease,” pin-up model and dancer Ruby Joule, the gem you’d love to polish!
Also featured from Jigglewatts: the platinum blonde stunner known as “Texas’ Very Own Gold Rush” Goldie Candela, the gorgeous songstress and dancer Jolie Goodnight, the exotic Layna D’Luna, and last but not least the lovely Something Blue.
This is a one night, one time only South meets West show that you won’t want to miss as BurlEscapades joins the stage with classic favourites as well as new acts never performed on this stage.
And what is a burlesque show without comedy? Joining the dazzling dames and gallivanting gents on-stage will be Jade Esteban Estrada, “America’s Prince of Pride”: performer and comedian extraordinaire.

[Nerdlesque] The Strand Attacks!
If you have not heard of the post-apocalyptic awesomeness that is the Strand here in the Valley then we will help you lift that rock you’ve been under! The Strand cannot be boxed into one unique genre, but is a blend of industrial dance, EBM, electro-industrial, and industrial rock music. Arizona is lucky enough to host this band and have them back in Phoenix from their tour.
And even MORE lucky, are you gents and dames who will be attending the Burlescapades Nerdlesque show on January 25th at Joe’s Grotto as not only will you be tantalized by the wiles of our burlesque dances, and entertained by the wit of our variety acts, but you get to see the Strand live at the after-party!
Oh, and we have one last little surprise for you Strand fans: not only dangerously attractive, and talented, but also generous – the Strand will be gifting a CD to all guests that attend our little soiree that evening.
On a personal note, I can say that seeing the Strand live is a visual and auditory fun-house ride I would never miss.

Burlescapades Nerdlesque Hosts the Queen!
Remember how we told you we’d have
a few delightful surprises for you?
Well, feast your eyes on the first! BurlEscapades is honored and ecstatic to announce that we will be featuring Coco Lectric at the January 25th Nerdlesque show!
Coco was crowned the 2010 New Orleans Burlesque Queen for a reason and is going to demonstrate her royal majesty geek-style for you lucky Phoenicians.
We’d HIGHLY recommend you keep an eye out on our FB event page for BurlEscapades Nerdlesque for ticket sales opening as this one is going to sell out quick!

Okay, it isn’t QUITE the new year yet and we get that, but we are so excited to announce our partnership with Joe’s Grotto that we about to burst.
Starting in January of 2014, BurlEscapades will be producing and performing quarterly at Joe’s Grotto. Expect all sorts of tricks up our sleeves including swag bags for our V.I.P’s, photobooths, salty treats and sweets, and entertainment that is just not our saucy bumping and grinding!
Here’s a little sneak peek of what is in store for you:
January 25th – “Nerdlesque” – Joe’s Grotto – From comic book heroes and villains to cult classics. Burly versions of geekdom!
March 22nd – “Cinelesque” – Joe’s Grotto – You loved it in 2013 and it’s back! Cinema style burlesque complete with fresh popcorn.
July 5th – “‘Merica” – Joe’s Grotto – It’s July 5th and the day before is slightly important to some independent folks. Get it?
November 1st – “Fright Night” – Joe’s Grotto – The Day of the Dead. From urban legends to the monster in the closet, bring a friend to hold your hand through this one.
Tickets for the first show will be opening soon, so keep your eye out!

Cinelesque! A delightful marriage of Film & Burlesque (…and Sin)
This Saturday at Joe’s Grotto in Phoenix, Burlescapades will be hosting a delightful event which is bringing together Hollywood and burlesque glamour into one fabulous package! Cult classics, Disney Princesses, Horror villains, Pulp Drama and Musicals will all meet on stage in this cinema inspired burlesque show: Cinelesque!
Patrons will be treated to freshly made, hot buttered popcorn and sweet treats served up by our concession boys and girls.
Come dressed to the nines in your glitzy garments or dress down in your tattered rags in homage to your favorite flick! Either way we will have paparazzi on hand to capture your look.
Oh, and if you are good you might get to see Mia WITHOUT these popcorn cartons!
